For the NZTA | Super Rugby Safety Videos project, I’m leading the production and scriptwriting. Our aim is to create road safety content that resonates with Māori, Pasifika, and other diverse ethnic groups, particularly those aged 18–34. This initiative is part of NZTA’s broader road safety efforts and features the Hurricanes alongside other Super Rugby teams.
We focus on three key road safety topics, collaborating closely with NZTA and the NZ Rugby Players’ Association to develop and approve storyboards. Once filmed, we refine the videos based on feedback before rolling out a paid and organic social media strategy for maximum engagement.
And in our cheeky competitive nature, we’re proud to say that our Hurricanes videos have generated the highest online engagement compared to the other Super Rugby teams.
